But since the deal price was 250$ paid in BTC by that time rate, you unfortunately have to refund 250$ in BTC by today's rate. How to explain that more clearly, BTC is just a way of money transfer. Same thing about BTC deposits, if your amount is fixed in USD, you'll receive $500 back if you withdraw it. If the amount were in BTC, you'd receive this amount of bitcoins.
